When I first met this bride and groom earlier this year to talk about their wedding plans, it didn’t take long to realise that they were going to be a lovely couple to work with. A wonderful mixture of heartfelt love between them and a sense of fun boded well for a lovely ceremony and so it turned out to be.
The groom confessed to having a tear in his eye even before the ceremony started when he read the words his bride had had printed at the bottom of the aisle. She and her father made a fine sight as he accompanied her down the aisle and presented her to be married and I am sure there wasn’t a dry eye in the house.
After welcoming everyone and offering some words of reflection about love and marriage, the couple exchanged vows they had written together, sealed with an exchange of rings. After ‘signing the register’, they were then handfasted, before, of course, ‘the kiss’.
Such a joyful event to be part of . I wish them both the very best for their future happiness.
