Naming Ceremonies

Baby with motherWelcoming and naming ceremonies for babies and children

What is more wonderful and magical than the arrival of a new baby into a family and wider community? The name you give them when they enter the world is a welcoming gift they will carry with them for the rest of their life. You want to mark the occasion in a way that is memorable, has meaning and feels personal to you and your family.

You can have a naming ceremony at any time after your baby is born, including;

♥  shortly after your child is born

♥  after a few months when things have settled down a little

♥  to coincide with another event such as baby’s first birthday

♥  when your child is a little older so that they can more directly participate.

You can involve grandparents and other important family members and friends in the ceremony, and it is an opportunity for them to make heartfelt promises and commitments to your child.

As a Community Celebrant I work with you to create and deliver a unique and personalised ceremony for your child at a venue of your choice. Taking account of your wishes I offer guidance, suggestions and advice to help ensure you have the ceremony of your dreams. Services include;
